1.Variety Of Learning experiences
In a Montessori classroom,the whole environment is prepared in such a way that the organization of the room allows children easy access to a variety of learning experiences.The room is organization of the room orderly to look attractive in all aspects ,Materials are displayed on low shelves for student’s free access.
2.Importance to developmental; needs
The material in a Montessori classroom designed after careful observation of Children and thorough research to fit the developmental needs and characteristics of children .
3.Respect and positive values
Montessori teachers are trained in such a way so that they teach respect and positive value through their modeling as well as through the way they teach.The Montessori Method helps a child to do work in a positive manner and Montessori teachers always try not to humiliate or embarrass the child


4.Systematic sequence and order in the environment
The Montessori program is systematically and carefully arranged to principal of Montessori development of children .Every activity is carefully though out to build upon previous preparation and to lead the intelligence on to a higher activity .Order in the environment given positive impact on children .
5.Independence and Responsibility
The Montessori program is designed to develop independence and responsibility because the organization of the classroom ,the method of teaching ,and the practical life lesson are oriented toward helping the child to become a self-sufficient , disciplined and independent and independent individual.
6.Freedom of choice
The routine of the Montessori program is based upon the Principal of freedom of choice instead of set times for prescribed activities.Children learn best when they have control over their learning/when they are free to chose.Montessori teaches give many interesting lessons with the materials of children, but it is ultimately the choice of the student that leads the learning.Adults must respect the development process that lead children to choose what is best for them at any particular time.if there is concern that a child is avoiding specific areas it is the responsibility of the adults to find ways to inspire interest rather than imposing learning upon them.
Montessori said that whenever adults do things for the children that they can do for them selves,It hinders their development.Children learn to take care of their development .Children learn to take care of themselves and their environment ,Dr.Maria Montessori believed that learning and well-being are improved when people have a sense of control over their lives .



7.Rewards and punishments
In Montessori programs children are viewed as positive beings whose primary aim is the work of constructing an adult.Development and learning by themselves are adequate motivators.Rewards and punishment are not appreciated in Montessori Method.Tying rewards to an activity negatively impacts motivation to engage in that activity when the reward is withdraw Therefore ,joy is discovered and experienced by children in the real world only through the study of nature ,science,math,music,reading,history and geography rather than in the world of comics,cartoon,and fantasy.
8.Education for peace
Montessori education is for peace .Children are actively taught how to develop interpersonal skills that will result in development to ability to understand and share things with others.Games with violence are prohibited.Parents are strongly encouraged not to allow children access to violence on television or in video games .In fact ,it is the best for children under the age of seven to have very limited exposure to video games and television.
