Eight Types Of Principal
9.Teaching to individual instead of groups
The Montessori Method of education teacher to individuals instead of a groups keeping in mind individual developmental needs. In many other teaching methods, lesson are presented to the whole class and sometimes to small groups. In Montessori schools the general rule is reserved. Most of the time, the teacher presents lesson to individuals.Other children can watch if they are interested>In the way ,the teacher can address the specific needs of a child and can respond to that individual child’s interest and level of understanding. This individual attention also helps the teacher to be much more familiar with each child
10.Education for life
Montessori is education for life. The Montessori approach is fully integrated over a multi-Age span.It is not designed as a quick fix for children who may be struggling in more tradition environments. It is designed to help them develop fully as individuals, not just academically, but as whole person to live happily and successfully in the society.
11Real life experience
Fantasy is not part of the curriculum in a Montessori early childhood classroom.Montessori encourages real life experience for young children. There is so much wonderful information for children to learn that children greatly enjoy the learning about real things. Most fantasy is imposed on children from the imagination of adults and it is not generated by children themselves.
12.Collaborative arrangement

13.Learning through practice
Children learn through practicing tasks rather than through listening and having to memorization. In many non-Montessori classrooms it is expected from children to learn by listening to the teacher .Work is usually with paper and pencil. In a Montessori classroom,on the other hand, children learn by practicing with apparatus which embodies the concept to be mastered. For example ,when learning about shapes such triangles ,square, circle, etc,Montessori student trace real figures and make designs instead of listening to a teacher talk about the shapes and watching her draw them on a chalk board. They also fit different shapes together to make patterns. They can make fine discriminations by fitting shapes into the correct corresponding holes.
14.Concrete to abstract
Learning situated in meaningful contexts is often deeper and richer than leaning in abstract contexts .It is important for children to learn the bigger picture and basic concepts before earning the details. This children to organize new information to make it easier to learn and remember.
15.Children’s House’
The Montessori school is considered a “Children’s House’ because the whole environment is especially designed for this little creature.Unlike ordinary school,in the Montessori schools everything is child sized like chairs.tables, desks, racks, wash basins etc.Montessori material is placed at low shelves for the free access of children.People learn better when they are interested in what they are learning. So child sized prepared environment develops interest of children which help in learning process as well.

16.Movement and cognition are closely entwined
Dr.Maria Montessori strongly believed that movement and cognition are closely entwined and movement can enhance thinking and learning.
”All the work of the will is carried out by these marvelous instrument of movement .The function of the mind is just to possess all these means of expression with which the idea changed into action ;feeling is realized in work ”.(The discovery of the child )
Dr.Maria Montessori believed that movement is essential for life and education is not conceived in the true sense if inhibition of movement takes place.
17.Adult Interaction
According to Dr.Maria Montessori, particular forms of adult interaction are associated with optimal child outcomes .The teacher act only as facilitator in the classroom and arrange specific environment according to the developmental need of child. The work of the child should be given importance by all adults not only by directer so that the interaction of child with the adults develop in the right way .
