Vocabulary Through Grace and courtesy Lesson

The Format for these presentation should be done in small groups.The presentations are like grace and courtesy lessons of practical life.The directress first demonstrates the term being taught (e.g. excuse me ,sorry ,thanks , greeting ,offering and requesting help etc)and acts it out like in the grace and courtesy lessons.

It is like a little drama /acting that the child is invited to repeat.

PURPOSES

    Te enlarger  the child’s vocabulary.To help in the classification of the environment preparation for other cultural studies indirectly.

2.5 -% years and onwards

Grace and Courtesy lessons are given to each child in the environment and usually in a group. This allows the child to have a clear understanding as well as a place to perfect himself with others. It is the Directress’s role to give the children the correct words, and the precise movements and steps.

 Children learn in different ways – some learn by seeing, some by hearing, some by reading, some by doing. And at this stage, children still learn through play. Plenty of unstructured, free play helps balance formal lessons at school. It also gives children a chance to unwind after the routines and rules of school.

  3. Model how to be respectful by respecting your kids first. …
  4. Use kind and firm discipline to teach, not to punish.
